Due to bad economy banks have put lots of restrictions on loans and yes even on student loans. these days if you want a private loan and you are on F,J, or any other visa, and have no family members in US as permanent resident or a citizen no one is giving you loans exception to this is if you are a citizen or a permanent resident then you are eligible (with a good credit history) for federal loans or private loans. So what are the options well if there is a way you can get a loan approved from your home country that will be good. another way would be to pay it from your pocket.
sorry to say this but situation is bad for most of us.
