Hi,
My applications were completed late august/september, and have yet to hear back from any schools (no interviews). I am getting very anxious as students around me with lower stats (but earlier apps) are getting interviews/acceptances. Is it too late? Should I be pursuing second options?

Thanks for all inputs

What are your stats, state residence, ECs, DAT, ect.....

It's hard to help you without any information....

I just got my first interview yesterday, and I've heard it picks up after the holidays. So we just gotta keep the faith?

Did you send in an academic update? IMO, not a coincidence I received an interview the day after I contacted them to confirm it had been received. But that's just a guess.
Before this, though, I had already resigned myself to not hearing anything this cycle. I'm taking another class in the spring to continue boosting my GPA, and if I haven't gotten anywhere by March, I'll look for a position as a dental assistant for when my current job ends in August, get new letters of recommendation, contact all my schools to try to get some insight on how else to improve my application, and take more courses in the summer and fall, since I know it's my GPA that's holding me back :-/

Im a pretty typical applicant. 3.5 GPA from UMichigan undergrad, 20 DAT, etc etc.. How do I go about submitting an academic update? Thanks!

When you go into "My application" in AADSAS, you'll see "Academic Update" in the left hand column directly under "Help." It has the instructions for filling in any coursework you took over the summer/fall but grades came too late to go in your original submission. Then you have to send your updated transcript to AADSAS. For some reason I didn't receive a confirmation that the update was sent to schools, so I contacted them myself to check.
