How many LORs do you have in ERAS? Kind of strange for you not to have any interviews with a good step 1 and early application.

Also, it depends on where and what you're applying in. Some programs take a long time to give out interviews -- some even wait until your dean's letter is released. Do you not have interviews to programs where other people already have gotten interviews? If so, it might be because you still have letters or a transcript outstanding.

How competitive are the programs you applied for? Are you an AMG?

Also, check if all your application documents were downloaded by programs.

I suppose more info is needed. When OP states he applied broadly, I took that to mean >20-25 programs and a mix of competitive and non-competitive programs. I know not all programs have given interviews but a large number of programs already have, including some of the consensus "top 25 programs". I think if you haven't gotten any interviews at all at this point in time, applying broadly with a >250 on step 1, then you either don't have a complete application (LOR's, transcript?) or you have something on your application that schools are wondering about (grades?) and want to see your MPSE first.

Wait, are you an IMG? I just realized you didn't comment on that. That could be a reason for sure.

Either way, with how many people have gotten interviews and how good your step 1 is, I don't think your lack of interviews can be safely attributed to the programs not reviewing applications yet.

4. Are you a troll?

No.

If you read the NMRP report, then these are the four important determinants and will probably be the most helpful data given as previously stated above by tfom08 that at least 3 top 10 IM programs have given interviews for IM. School especially can be used as a discriminant (the NIH rankings being an approximate representation).

Is that enough justification for me asking these questions? If you are going into IM, then please feel free to pipe in with your argument.

I think WLG7 was adding that to the list of things to ask the OP, not calling you a troll...

I am an osteopathic medical student, but have not received any interviews from DO programs. All of my nuumbers are legit, I just cant understand why I dont have any interviews. I applied to Ohio State which has already granted several interviews.......

The match process is earlier for DO programs than MD programs (the applications start being transmitted for the DO match on July 15th). That might be a factor. Your app was right on time for MD progs but "late" for DO places. If your COMLEX score is not as good as your USMLE score that might also be a factor. If I were you I would add more MD programs and see if that helps.
I hope things work out for you. :luck::luck::luck:
