No MCAT or GRE need to improve GPA for next year application

My GPA is like a 3.1-3.2. I still havent taken any standardized tests since the SAT... I need to raise my GPA so I can apply next year but it seems like all SMP and Master's programs need either and MCAT or a GRE..

How would taking classes at UCLA extension and summer school before I apply next year sound? Would it be the same thing for medical schools except it doesnt go towards a professional/grad degree?
