Apparently they will stop reporting the 2 digit score on the ERAS system for all of the step 1/2/3 exams starting July 1st. Thank goodness the mass confusion of the 2 digit score will soon be over.

It will only be reported to state licensing boards as needed.

Thats unfortunate. Perhaps they could just expand the 3 digit score into a 4 or 5 digit format or append on to it ones MCAT writing score letter? :idea:
 
If you read the whole news wire it states that they will still report to the student both 3digit and 2digit scores. However when sending your scores out for residency applications they only report 3 digit scores. When sending the scores out to state licensing boards they only report 2 digit scores. Sooooo... all in all it means poo poo 😛 no change, really.
