Hey guys/gals,
Im pretty sure most people who are trying to go to med school next year have finished applying. I applied to 30 med schools (and got like 28 secondaries). I applied to 27 of those 28 and I finished the last few ones late july/early august. Since then I have gotten a rejection and a hold, but dead silence from the other schools. Im not panicking yet, but I am growing a bit concerned. I realize many of these med schools have a large volume of applications but I was sure that when I had finished my secondaries that many people were saying I finished with probably the first 25 to 35 percent of applicants. So i guess what I am asking is this dead silence from the majority of our applied schools normal? (Obviously glad I am not getting a string of rejections, but I really can't help feeling extremely anxious after every day of opening my email and not seeing anything). Id appreciate some feedback on this, thanks!
