Last year, got as far as being interviewed and wait-listed because I believed I was really late into the game. So this year, I applied early and.... no secondary from the school I was waitlisted. I know, I know it's still early yet but I am starting to get paranoid. Any advice?

Which school? Do they screen?

Why don't you email the Admissions Director? Just explain your situation, stating that you realize a waitlist position in the last cycle does not guarantee a secondary/interview, but you would like to know if you should be worried because you haven't received any correspondence from them. You get the gist of it!

Some schools automaticly send secondaries to all AMCAS people. See if you can find out if this school is one of those. Did you stay with a student when you interviewed? Do you know anyone there?

There was one school that I called the first time I applied and they told me emphatically that they send secondaries to all applicants...but I never got one and after calling 3-4 times...I decided that if they were that incompetent..I didn't want to go there.

You could start with an annonymous call asking about whether that's what they do. At this point calling is probably your best bet.

Good luck...good chance it just got mixed up and calling would straighten itout.
