Most people with bio degrees are doing research. I'm curious about people applying this year who have a degree in something else. If you're a bio major and doing something unrelated to biology, please post too. 😀

My premed advisor told me that since I'm not a science major and I've already done very well on the MCAT, I don't need to take more high level science. So I'm focusing on taking a few high level humanities courses with topical relation to medical issues (e.g., sociology seminar on poverty).

Ok Apparition, I talk to you wayyyyy too much

I'm teaching math at a private school while I apply. Yay...I get to teach little people 😀

(BS in Biomed Engr, MHS in Reproductive Bio)

Hey Tinkerbelle 😀
Yay! There are people in the universe not doing research 😀
I'm working in IT this year.

I have a degree in Marketing.. but I am working as a scribe in the ER at a Level I Trauma Center in Fort Worth, Tx. It is awesome!

well although i'm a bio major, i'll tell you what i'm doing just to give you some ideas apparition. I'm doing molecular bio research, i'm doing a TA in molec lab for one semester, i'm volunteering in an er, and i'll be tutoring. This is all besides the 9 classes i'm taking. How the hell i plan on pulling that off i don't know?lol

i am a finance major and am working on developing and manageing finance reports for hospitals.

no research...doest suit me...

i cant stand the labs.

I'm an English major and working in the same non-profit women's health clinic I've worked in throughout college, but on a full-time basis while I apply and write my thesis. I did a summer of research, and I didn't like the work that much--I like patient interaction.

work at an AIDS clinic and then I am going to be going to South American to volunteer as a medical volunteer in a hospital and teach English....

working on graduating as a psychology major, thesis on hiv interventions, varsity sailing, coordinating silly volunteer groups... taking three classes and going out? dating? haven't we all been productive enough for the past three years?
