Non required missing LOR hold up app?

My app was mailed the 17th, but I am still waiting on ONE LOR (she said she would have it in by the 24th when I talked to her, and she doesn't, so I guess I can't get in to marquette even though I mailed the check and all).

My question is, does anyone know if a school like Ohio state, who only requires 2 LOR's, will consider my application incomplete because of the missing letter, even though I have all i need to apply to their schools? This is going to irritate me because the teacher said she would have it in by monday when I spoke to her in person, and still nothing.

Check back in with her, email her and let her know you have everything in place except for that but dont be abrasive about it, otherwise you will never get it. Try asking someone else too.

Well I did exactly that and she said don't worry it's finished I will submit it, and right now I'm not sure who to ask and if it will take a shorter time.

is there chance you could give her addressed envelopes so she can send it directly to schools as well as AADSAS?

i have all of my required letters in and am waiting for an extra letter from a dentist. i have already received interview invites at penn, columbia and umdnj. i have been told that my application is complete by temple, nyu and pitt. i have not heard anything yet from maryland.

with that said, i believe that if you have all of the required LORs in, your application will be considered.
