non-rolling admissions and late application

for schools that do not operate on rolling admissions, does it matter if you send in your application late, say right before the AMCAS deadline?
 
especially since some of the schools still haven't figured out who's even applying, i doubt it matters much. procrastinate away. getting your application in early helps, but i doubt that they accept people based heavily on when they apply.
 
Yeah, it normally might have a greater impact than this year, but even normally...it would be extremely small in a school that doesn't have rolling admissions.
