Hi Everyone,

I just had a quick question regarding the non-science LOR. I built a very good relationship with one of my TAs (Master's candidate I believe) asking if she could co-write a letter with the professor that taught the course, who I did not know very well. She said she can write the letter and have the Department Chair co-sign the letter. I was wondering if this is sufficient or if it must be a professor signing it as well. Thanks!

Since the Dept Chair is faculty, this is perfectly sufficient

Hi Gonnif,

Thank you for the response, it is much appreciated. I knew having a TA solely writing a LOR isn't ideal so just wanted to make sure this situation would be sufficient. Once again, thanks for the help.
