I don't know why, but from looking at 4.0 thread and my grades, why does it seem like the core professors are trying harder not to give an A vs. science ones?

I don't know. Our psych professors practically hand out As. Our writing professors will only give you an A if you write as well as Tolkein though.

I once took sociology a while ago. The professors, as I recall, never set a time deadline for our paper, which was really the one and only grade in the class. I was sick that day, so I turned it in after class, after 12pm. Well, 12pm was the deadline that 'he stated during the previous class.' He dropped my paper's grade by two letter grades. I would've had an A on it.... So I got a C on the class. Professors.... I think they just want to take frustration out on students sometimes. What ever happened to mercy?

It depend on the school. At my university, most non science classes at my school are easy if you register for the easy professors if your enrollment date is early than other people. Otherwise, every non science classes are a pain in the butt. To tell you the truth, it depend more on the professor and depend on how many people are in the class. Some non science classes at my university will fill up very quickly if it is a easy professor and the students will email that professor so he will open more seat. This happen a lot and I go to a big university

If your professors find out that you are a premed, you are going to have a bad time.
