Undergrad Cum 3.28 Science 3.36 as Biology Major/Chem Minor
Non-trad student. Those grades include screw ups from basically having my head up you know where during those immature years. I aced most of my pre-req classes (Chem 1 and 2 A, A bunch of Bio A's, some upper level like genetics, Orgo 1 A, Orgo 2 B+, Physics 1 A-, Physics 2 C+ DOH! but definitely withdrawals and F's from basically not caring too much and socializing a bit too often. That was a long time ago so...)
Since then have had a lot of real life experience, including 2 years working in the hospital. 1 of 2 were spent working as an ER tech in a high volume ER as well as a post-surgical tech. Lots of hands on experience drawing blood, wound care, hard and soft splinting of orthopedic injuries, running ekgs, being involved in code blues, working on car accident victims, and a whole bunch of other stuff. i will have a solid LOR from a D.O. who was the chairperson of the ER department there.
taking the mcat in a few weeks. applying to Touro-COM Harlem, NYCOM, UMDNJ-SOM.
what you think?

27+ MCAT would give you a decent chance. But I think you should apply to more schools--at least 10.
