Non-US citizen going for MPP/MPA in USA - any hope?

Hi all,

I have been accepted for MPP/MPA at GWU (planning to focus on healthcare). The issue is not deciding between the two.
My main concern is I am not a US citizen. I know I would not be able to work in federal govt. after I graduate. Now both these degrees have opportunities in govt. and if I can't even apply to half the jobs what will I do when I graduate?

Can a non-US citizen work in state or local government level? What about non-profit or private sectors? Are there enough opportunities to find a reasonable enough job to pay off my loan?

Yes there are enough opportunities in the private sector especially in healthcare. Also there are opportunities in non-profits ex. Clinton Global Initiative.
