Hi,
Does anyone have suggestions on how to get shadowing experience in? I work full-time and it seems that most dental offices where I live are closed on the weekends.

How much time shadowing do you think is receommended. I can easily take off some time from work here and there but wouldnt be able to do something regularly.

I work full-time, too, (chemist) and shadowed a total of 75 hrs. I usually did about 3-6 hrs/week and made up the time either in the evenings or on weekends. One school I applied to required a minimum of 30 hrs of shadowing.

I am in the military and usually do it during my lunch breaks! I am not sure if you get lunch breaks...but if so....it is the way to go and you will get 30 hrs in no time!
