NYCOM's secondary is here:
http://iris.nyit.edu/nycom/Admissions_Apply.htm
So what do you mean by secondary=interview?
I have heard other people say that NYCOM only sends a secondary with an interview invitation.
When NYCOM actually "invites" you to complete the secondary it comes with an interview invite.
So why is that even there?
I didn't really want to make a new thread for this, but I'm looking at the Osteopathic Mentor program and should I consider the communication methods when I apply for mentors? Should I mention I need a LOR (or assume one is needed, I normally wouldn't ask, but I don't have the luxury of shadowing for a long long time and requesting a LOR due to the current application cycle).
Most have email only and some put email, face to face, day shadowing, etc. Should I ignore people who only have email listed? (I hope to receive a LOR).
Also, kinda random question, but does any DO school put extra emphasis on a LOR from an alumni? I know, it's not that big of a deal, but I don't think it would hurt to get a LOR from an alumni.
