I'm also applying to Northeastern! You would be going in as a third year in their 6 year program. So yes, you would be considered a transfer student even if you have a degree. Good luck!

Hello,
From what I understand, they're in the process of transitioning their program so that students with a BS degree can be admitted into the program as graduate students. I've applied there too and have a BS degree, but am taking a few classes at Northeastern's evening program so I've asked around about what's going on. I think they're trying to be more 'inviting' to students who already have an undergrad degree since a lot of people seem to be getting a degree before going on to pharm (or deciding later in life to go back to school)...you've probably seen it, but there is some info on their website and they say transfer students for the Fall of '05 may be given the option of entering as a graduate student.

Not sure if that helps - they're not real speedy about updating the info on the web so I ended up calling before I submitted my application...I still think it's weird that you have to apply through the undergrad admissions office, but whatever it takes! 🙂

Good luck!
