Hey,

I am thinking of applying to this program...

I know that NWU is a top-rated school, but because Biotech is so new, there are no rankings or the sort. Not many schools even offer an MS in Biotech. Can anyone give me details of what a degree like this can do for me. Will I be sought after...is it a prestigious school....Salary is not important, I just wanna do biotech at a top-notch school. Although I've heard a Biotech degree can be pretty lucrative. Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

I think the degree can give you an edge in certain aspects of the industry... I know several people who studied biotech... some went into consulting or found work at pharmaceutical companies and the others went further to pursue PhDs or MDs.

Does the Biotech program still exist at NWU? I thought it was incorporated into the MBA program at Kellogg. I would like to do the new Bioinformatics program, but I do not know if this would really help me get into medical school.
