Has anyone had experience with this program (listed on AAMC website with other SMPs)? I got into here and Tufts, but really have no idea how the MSEB would compare to an SMP in terms of getting into medical school afterwards.
If you are in GPA repair mode, then this program will not help.
This is something to improve one's stats if they are in say a 3.45-3.55 range where they are too high to really do an SMP and a little low for the averages, and have an average MCAT (29/30/31).
Things like this, and the columbia nutrition, and Dartmouth's programs (see Midlife's recent post on this) are not designed for GPA repair situations or second-chances. They (like MPHs) are designed to add levels of interest and attractiveness to one's app.
So, you should go to Tufts if you are in GPA repair mode, and to Northwestern if you want to be a sexier applicant because you already have the ballpark GPA and MCAT.
