Hey, so let me start off by saying that I know nothing about Northwestern, but I too was accepted to NYU and have already put my deposit down. There are so many reasons I chose NYU, but the main reason was that I felt comfortable there already. I'm from North Jersey so I know the city well, but not to the extent of moving there for school for 3 years. I loved the diversity, accommodations, affiliations, program, staff/faculty, curriculum, location, class size, errythang. Its close enough to home for me in case of any emergency, but far enough where I can go be my own person and enjoy all that NY has to offer. Plus, Id be living in an area where people all around the globe dream of seeing, its kind of awesome and I want to take full advantage of what it has to offer. To be honest, I got the email about the cost of tuition and I know its gonna set me back in so much debt, but tuition is the last thing I look at when it comes to choosing a program that I will be in for 3 years straight. I want somewhere I will be happy, and I know NYU will offer my just that.
