What classes do I need to take for the pre-reqs? I don't want to do just the bare minumum, but I also can't do a second major. I have taken BIO with labs and GChem with labs. I know each school is different, but what classes have the non-science majors taken to fulfill the pre-reqs sufficiently?

Well, you need 1 year ochem w/ lab and 1 year physics w/lab. Take one semester of Biochem as many schools are begining to require this. I would also take Anatomy or Physiology (or a duel Anat/Phys class if your school offers it). That is all that I have done as a non-science major and no one has mentioned anything. You need at least two upper levels beyond prereqs to meet NOVA's requirements and I think that is a good bar to hurdle in general even if you aren't applying to NOVA.

Edit: UoP required 3 biology classes beyond general biology so if you plan on going there you will need a few extra courses.

I took Microbio, anatomy, physiology and nutrition courses

You answered your own question here. Each school is different and you need to find out the prereq's for each of the schools you want to apply to and take all the prereqs needed as a whole. You need to make sure you have everything covered, otherwise, you may end up like some applicants here who are complaining that they didn't know that this school required a certain class and its not fair because now they have to take it or they can't get accepted, Yada yada.
