Does UC Davis send out a confirmation email or anything? I have not heard if they got my AMCAS or even acknowledge my application yet.

At least UCLA, UCSF, UCSD and UCI got back to me with at least getting my application.

They never sent a confirmation email to me, but I could check my status at http://som.ucdavis.edu/ea/admission/ before I was approved for a secondary.

Thanks a lot swimerpaco. At least I can obsessively monitor that website everyday from now on.

I went to UCD for undergrad, and work at the UCD med center doing research right now. It's my top priority school. But god they're so selective.

1. Clinical involvement
2. Community service
3. Leadership
4. Other work experience

1500 characters: If the practice of medicine ceased to exist - there were no physicians, what would you do instead, and why?

1500 characters: Describe a difficult situation you have had to overcome in your life or during your college academic experience. How do you feel this will prepare you for a career in medicine?

1500 characters: Every applicant reflects a variety of backgrounds and strengths. The Admissions Committee assesses the applicant's contributions to their class, the medical school and the potential of an applicant to contribute to society. Please describe to the Admissions Committee what you have to offer in this regard.

thanks, if I had to leave the campus, I would at least hope its to another med school in Cali. that way I can drive to the bb and fb games.

The only exception would be SUC- bastard trojans.

havent even started the davis 2ndary yet and ive had it for 3 weeks. yikes. i hope they dont think im dumb. hopefully it will go out by this weekend! other news...i finally turned in my UCI secondary....

I just sent in my Irvine oer the weekend too, hahaha. Such a lagger. But I work like ten hours a day doing research, including weekends. Pain in the a$$.

I hated that question on UCI about what can you bring to the university and society., Too broad.

yeah im not so much of a procrastinator....since i do work all day. it would be so easy for me to just sit down and work on all these apps if i had no job. dumb j-o-b. anyways....yes UCI sucked. UC davis's sucks more.

if i get ucla's....i'll be soooooooooo happy. 😍 since i love my school. sigh.
