Insight would be helpful!

I interviewed at a school in early April (my top choice) and the admissions coordinator said that she was unsure when the next committee meeting would be, but to email her if we ended up having any questions. I was wondering if it would be okay to email her, and ask if she knew when the next committee meeting would be and then briefly mention my reasoning that I would really rather pay just one deposit at that school than having to end up paying two - and the deadline for deposit at the other school is coming up.

Do you guys think I should send an email outlining that or just leave the part about the other deposit out? I feel like I might receive a generic "no i still dont know when it is" or annoy her with the question if I do not provide the reasoning for why I am asking.

It’s a fair question, include the deadline of the other school’s deposit

@sb247 I do have more questions. I got to thinking, would this backfire on me in anyway? Like, could they just be like, "Oh he already has an acceptance somehwere, lets not give him one. I mean we do have those new traffic rules, etc, etc"? I know that anything is possible, but what is the probability something like that occurs?

Somewhere between zero and 100.

But you have to write a check if you don’t know by “x” date. It’s not fair to assume you can force an answer, but it’s very fair to ask
