I'm sure if you read a handful of the other "what are my chances" threads.. you can piece together roughly where you stand.

Sure, send your stuff to me via PM. I can promise I won't blow smoke up your ass if things don't look good.

I come on this forum to find out constructive info about applying and studying for the OAT..and every second thread is about something like this! honestly, you will find out your chances once you apply and either get accepted or rejected. I think if anyone is in good standing of getting in..you KNOW you are. But there is only ONE way to find out..not by asking random ppl's opinions, who might be completely wrong, seeing as how they arent admissions counsellors or know all the info the admissions people are going to get...and they dont know who else is applying and therefore what your competition is like.....therefore.....why doesnt everyone just apply and leave it up to the schools..if you arent cut out to be an optometrist, you wont get in.

well, i think people ask this question because they want other people's opinions. obviously they know the school will make the decision. its just a question people ask to get some feedback. i don't see anything wrong with this question. it's a bit entertaining and this is a forum, by the way. i don't understand why some people get so nasty over it. if you don't like the question, don't open it, don't answer it. gosh

and i would let you send me your transcript, but i don't know much about admission to opt schools myself..

I agree with DRCM. I think some people also ask, so they have an idea of which and how many schools to apply to. It doesn't hurt to ask questions, regardless of how redundant it may sound to others. No one's forcing anyone to answer.
