I graduated a year ago with an econ degree and I'm going back to school to fulfill my pre-reqs. Yet, the school I attend to fulfill my pre-reqs (it's a cal state university) have really weird schedule and because of pre-reqs requirement for those classes, I can't take a 12 units science course load.

So my question is, if I don't take 12 units science course load per quarter. Will that drastically decrease my chance of getting into a dental school?

Im not sure about drastically, its not going to look as good as someone who is taking a full schedule with 2-3 science courses but you also have a unique case and your simply going back for your pre-reqs so its all you can really do. Econ is not usually seen as an easy degree program either so Im sure that goes into account as well. You'll be fine, take your pre-reqs and apply, thats your only option. Good Luck!
