Hello friends. I hope someone can help me out in my situation.

I am a 24 year old guy who has been academically dismissed from a 4 year college due to poor grades
I started off my college career in a private university and was killing it getting A's. Once I transferred to a city college, I started struggling and failed a few science courses which led to my ultimate downfall.
Right now I am almost done with a two year college and looking to get back into a 4 year. What I am wondering the most is where do I go from here and what do I do exactly. I am kind of lost and don't know what I should do. How do I retake the science classes and should I? I am technically not even done with 4 year undergrad. Should I do post bacc later on or masters? Your help will be greatly appreciated. This is very embarrassing and pathetic as you can see but I really want to get into dental school and just hoping to find a way.

Whew, seems like you got a lot on your shoulders. Feel free to give me a PM if you want to talk about it more. Otherwise, good luck and don't give up - if there is a will, there is a way! (within reason)

Schools are usually very forgiving if you show you have learned from your mistakes and do well in a post bac or masters. Finish out as strong as you can while trying out different study strategies that work for you, take some time to get mentally ready, and then enroll in a postbacc (there is plenty of threads on good ones on SDN), and DOMINATE your classes in post bacc. If you apply with a 3.7+ on your post bacc and a decent DAT score, I am confident that a school will give you a shot! If dentistry is your passion dont give up!
