i was verified around mid sept and got all my secondaries in really quickly within two weeks max ( for the schools that sent them to me). I have had one interview and one wait list for interview and thats it. Its almost november, is it gonna be a bad cycle? 3.7/3.5sci/27

azcom midwestern wait listed me for interview. So if you are applying there then im just giving you a FYI.

turn the secondaries in asap, esp to schools within your region.

the questions are already posted so prewrite them and submut them as soon as you get the emails.

You'll probably get interviews from most of the schools listed above later in the cycle. The ones with regional preferences like PNWU and MSU may not take a liking to you if you're OOS, but you have a good list of schools. Remember: it's still early. Good luck.

I'm in a similar situation, one ii and nothing else yet. Hoping more ii's start to come in soon, getting nervous too!
I keep trying to remind myself that everyone says the DO cycle moves at a slow pace except for the earliest applicants, interviews in Jan. and Feb. are common.

i just realized how crazy i am lol its been less than a month since i submitted secondaries and here i am whining.

Saaaaame here. Very similar stats, though your cGPA trumps mine a little bit. I'm complete at a few places but need to send in about 3 secondaries still. Hoping and praying for that first ii.

The one thing that's important to mention is that this applicant has phenomenal EC's and life experience. So, they are somewhat of an outlier.

I'm in the same boat as you OP my file was complete at MSU, OSU, PCOM-GA, LECOM-B, AT Still SOMA and KYCOM at the first of the month and I haven't heard anything yet! It's so hard waiting! But its not over yet we still might get some good news!

My stats are 3.2 cum/ 3.3 sci/ MCAT 23 > 28

If I were you, I would have applied to more places (if you can, it might be a good idea to send it to some newer schools). Your stats are mid-range for DO (LizzyM ~60-61). You should get in somewhere, but a couple of those places on your list are reaches, which doesn't leave many more.

Honestly I sent my primary to 12 schools and had planned on submitting a secondary for all of them but it just got to expensive. Ik OSU/MSU are a long shot and it would be a miracle to get an II at PCOM but worst they can say is no. I'm hoping that between SOMA and KYCOM one of them will give me a chance but if not I'll apply day one next cycle and hopefully I'll have the money to apply more places.
