A couple LORs, my MSPE, and my Med School transcript are still not uploaded to the ERAS PostOffice. I know that it says it can take a few hours to upload everything, but it's been a full day since I applied. Everything has been sent in on time, so I don't know what's going on.

The concerning part is, some programs have started downloading my app, but obviously aren't able to download the pieces that are missing from the PostOffice.

Has this happened to anyone else? Do the programs know to come back and get the rest of the application once it's been fully uploaded to the PostOffice?

I'm having a similar problem, but a little different... All my documents are uploaded and all but 2 programs downloaded everying, but for some reason for two programs it says my USMLE transcript isn't uploaded to ERAS, but obviously IT IS! I don't know how all the other programs got it just fine, but for some reason it's showing it as not uploaded for those 2? I'm hoping it's just becuase they are so busy, but I'm defnitely keeping my eye on it.

Talk to your dean's office. Even if you've created the "slots" for all your LORs, gotten all your LORs and transcript physically to your dean's office, they still have to upload them to ERAS. Until they have done that, they will not appear in the PostOffice.

The MSPE won't be uploaded for all students until 11/1, right? Thought schools all release the MSPE at the same time.
Transcripts seem to vary - schools seem to have varied dates for uploading them.

Yeah for allopathic schools. I think captopril might be an IMG- so they can send it in whenever.

I checked on my ECFMG Document Receipt page, and they've all been uploaded (ECFMG is my Dean's Office). It's weird because the first LOR I sent out about a month ago is the one that won't upload to ERAS PostOffice, whereas the ones that were sent and uploaded a week or 2 ago are all showing up fine.

I'm getting kind of worried since it looks like this isn't a normal event, and many programs have started downloading my app, which is currently missing a critical LOR.

EDIT: I guess what I'm really looking to find out is: after a program downloads components of your application, is it a normal occurrence for them to come back to it later on to download the rest of it (in my case, to download the missing LOR)?

I seem to recall that programs get notified when a component is "added" to your application after they download it. At very least, many I have talked to said to not worry about having all your letters uploaded when you submit and that it is common for letters to trickle in 1-2 weeks after ERAS opens. So I assume that means the programs are getting those letters somehow?

Good to know. Since I'm super-anal, I'll be calling ERAS on Tuesday just to make sure. Thanks for the info though.

Call or Email the ECFMG guys. It may probably a conflict between your reserved slot in MyERAS and the LOR sent to ECFMG. If it was sent to them a month ago and there is no update in your MyERAS documents, you will not see any progress in your status. Contact them, they will respond you...

Good idea. Unfortunately they are closed until Tuesday. Hopefully no one downloads over the weekend.
