notification dates for nymc and rochester?

Does Rochester and NYMC really begin sending out decissions by 10/15 as stated in the MSAR? At my interview at NYMC, i heard that it would be about 2 months before I'd hear from them. I heard similar comments at rochester.

Yeah, I heard 1 month to 1.5 months on Rochester. I haven't heard anything with NYMC.

Personally, I think they all randomly draw names out of a BIG hat and those people are the ones that get their files reviewed that week.

those who've applied to nymc, what does your status page say? anyone get a notifice that their decision letters have been sent?

I interviewed two weeks ago and today my app has: "Decision Pending Committee Review".

On one of Rochester's info sheets, they said that it takes 2 months to notify you of your status after your interview, and they don't start that until November at the earliest...

at the nymc interview they said decisions in 10-12 weeks. blah.

At my rochester interview they told me I'd hear in 4-6 weeks. That was 2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed.😀
