nothing yet. I called UF last week and they said we should be hearing something in the first week of Feb. Still waiting....my heart skips a beat every time my phone rings 😱

Aww, I know what you guys are feeling! I'm feeling it, too.
I spoke to a young woman yesterday from admissions, and here is what I learned: 1) they haven't admitted anyone yet in February (this includes people from interviews in December and January interviews); 2) half of the class is filled; 3) they have rolling admissions, so if people start receiving acceptance phone calls on February 10, and you don't, you don't have to start worrying; and 4) that they are still conducting interviews, but mid-February is the cut-off point.
Good luck and hopefully we'll see each other in the upcoming year!

I know this isn't the best of news, but I was told by the adm office that the AD COM already met and decisions were "mailed out" on Monday....this is for people with around or post dec. 1 interviews of course.
"mailed out" = rejection?
or waitlisted
they have so few that actually come off of the waitlist that it might as well be considered a rejection. 🙁
that's true!! Lets hope I am wrong and that may be they decide to send acceptance letters thru mail this time....

Can I ask what is supposed to happen on Feb 10th? Is that the last day they let us know about an acceptance? Or is that when they start giving them out? My heart has skipped a few beats this week when the phone rang!

I interviewed Feb 4th. We were told that interviews will be held through the middle of Feb. The Admissions Committee will meet towards the end of Feb and we should know by the first week of March (and not before then). I am not entirely sure what that means for people who interviewed in January, though. It may be that if you do not hear back in a few days, your application is held to be reviewed in the final round and compared to the students who interviewed after you.
