I was just wondering if anyone has any additional info on the 2- yrs master program offered at Nova.

ive heard from some ppl that you get immediate acceptance into their dental school if you get at least B's throughout the masters. and you get to "skip" the 1st year of Dental school if you have an A average in the program.

I just want to know if this information is veridic and correct.

thanks for the help =)

The masters program is like this:

It is up to 2 years, BUT if you get 80's or above in ALL of your courses, you only have to do 1 year of the masters program (and then you move onto your actual 1st year of dental school). If you get a 79 or below in ANY class, you have to do the 2nd year of the masters program. If you get 90 or above in any class, you exempt that class in your actual first year of dental school (that is, at Nova of course). Hope this helps.

thank you so much of the information. do you know if having 70s would "assure" a spot in the Dental school?

If you get 70's then for sure you have to do the 2nd year of the masters program and then MOST LIKELY you will get a spot after you complete the masters program.

I know students who had to do the 2nd year of the masters program and then got into Nova upon completion of the masters program.
