Does anyone feel that Nova is a good school if you want to specialize? Would it really matter where you went? As long as you do well there right? Just curious...
Also, I have a question about an LOR from a dentist I volunteer and shadow for...
I've gone in about 10 times, and work maybe 4 hours for him each time (little bits cuz of my class schedule). We talk and get along, and he teaches me alot, and wants to help me in the process, how should I ask him for an LOR? I know one from a dentist is essential...thanks!

Funny now with 20 views, no one can reply...

1. Yes

2. Ask him. He probably already knows you are going too. "Would you mind writting me a LOR for dental school.... thanks"

Yes! It sounds like he would make an excellent recommendor for you - go for it! Sure, Nova is as good as any other school if you want to specialize - do very well in class, ace your boards, get some great LOR's and you could stand a very good chance of being able to specialize.

Hey thanks Sprgrover, and frogger, you two guys always have pretty good advice...and help alot of people out on here. I'll be sure to ask him next time I go into shadow and let you all know what happens. 😉
