Hey, this is for current nova OD students. I can't find a proper breakdown on their website and in the booklet I got during my interview.

-Can you please elaborate on what costs you've paid on top of the tuition? (out of state)
-Do you live on residence? If not, what's the rent typically?
-I was told during the interview a car is necessary. Did you buy it in first year or just in third year when clinic starts?
-What was your total debt? and any regrets?

For Rent, I live in the dorms 1st year, shared room $750, 2nd-4th year apartment $650 rent(not including utility) had a roommate. Lived across the street from school. Walking distance most of the time. There are shuttles if you live in the dorm.

Had a classmate without a car the 1st year. It was hard for him to get around. He decided to get a car 2nd year.

Total debt 224k. No regrets, still happy on what I'm doing.
