Hello guys,

I just recently received an interview from NOVA Southeastern and I am not sure how I feel about it. I heard that NOVA gives out quite a lot of interviews. Does my interview invitation hold significance? How many of the students interviewed do they accept??

Yes, it holds quite a bit of significance. You need it in order to get accepted in the first place. Don't worry about others. Try to focus on doing as well as you can during the interview. That's all you can control.

For out of state applicants they only interviewed 289 out of 2,262 applicants that applied, so they basically interviewed only 12% of out of state applicants. Out of the 289 that interviewed, they extended offers of admission to 123. That's 42%

Where do you get this info? I have the 2014 ADEA guide and it doesn't say anything about how many people are accepted, only says how many enrolled.

Nah they accept more because not everybody with an acceptance puts a deposit down

Sorry you’re right but on each individual schools profile it says how many are offered admission

Wait no I just checked. The individual profile pages for each school says how many enrolled and the table in the back of the book has a column that says offers made

I don't think thats correct. The 123 offered admissions includes both the instate and out of state.

No it doesn't. For in-state, there were 623 applicants and they interviewed 399 of them. Out of those 399, they extended 189 offers of admission.
