I applied really early for this years incoming class for NSU hybrid prgoram and I was wait listed. Has anyone else been wait listed? Does anyone know about when they start doing call backs??

I beleive my PTCAS GPA was 2.9 even though my overall gpa is about a 3.7 my GRE score was 149 verbal and 147 math. My bachelor's degree is a BS in Athletic Training with a minor in biology. When I did my phone interview back in like late September I thought it went really well so I am just not quite sure why I was wait listed considering I meet their requirements and applied early because they say they have a rolling admissions.

Why is there such a large gap between your PTCAS GPA and your 3.7?

Some schools will interview everyone that makes their "public" cutoff, while internally set another bar for acceptances. Those that don't meet their annual cutoff will either be wait listed or declined a seat. You should check up on that 2.9...

I had to retake Chem1 and then I also retook a few others to bring my C's up. PTCAS counts all of them where as my school replaces my the poor grades with the better ones.

Also, did you note the difference in the PTCAS section where it asks you if your GPA reflects your academic strength?

I do remember that section and when I did the phone interview they did specifically ask me about my GPA and the courses that I retook.

Update! I was accepted!
