When is everyone's interview at Nova? I was just curious on their timeline. I received a letter in the mail today inviting me for an interview in November. I'm assuming they just get a lot more applicants than most schools or maybe they start interviewing later???
 
Actually, I got my Nova invite a couple weeks ago and they put me on November 2nd. I think they just randomly assign spots to people...
 
How much time passed between the submission of your signature sheet and the arrival of the interview invitation?
 
About a week... it was posted on my AADSAS status first though. I got the letter for the interview a few days later.
 
Really? Hrmm... only one school on my list has bothered to update my AADSAS, and that was UMKC.
 
I just got my letter today and my interview is December 1. That's so far away!!
 
Got my interview letter about 1.5 weeks ago, but it was listed on AADSAS first. Interview is on October 25. I got the interview invite about a week after I sent the signature page.
 
? eh? thats weird.. cuz they actually called me ... and ask me to pick a date during Sept..
 
Oct 19th for me. I got the interview in a letter around Aug. 7th
 
Got my letter last week. Interview on Nov 9th.

I have an interview scheduled with nova for sept 13th.
 
Interviewed at CASE, AZ
Will interview at NOVA 9/13/06
applied to UNLV,, CASE, NOVA, VCU, TEMPLE, DALHOUSIE, DETRIOT MERCY, OHIO STATE, MARQUETTE, IOWA, BOSTON, MICHIGAN, CREIGHTON (RDEP), BUFFALO, HOWARD, NJ, LOUISVILLE

I have buddies that have interviews scheduled for Virginia, I for some reason don't yet. go figure!

My app was mailed on July 17, but i took the DAT late so they didn't get that till August 10th.

i have an interview on Dec. 1st....i was excited at first, but after reading all these posts im worried it's too late
 
My interview last year was scheduled for the end of october but got canceled because of hurricain Wilma. I ended up going back like the 3rd week in November and got accepted a week later. As long as you are scheduled before December 1st you are in good shape.
 
does anyone know if there is a hotel in ft lauderdale with shuttle service to the school? i want to fly down for my interview (sept 28), but i don't really want to get a rental car. any ideas?
 
Has everyones correspondence with NOVA been via email or US mail? My AADSAS app was sent out on July 17th and I haven't heard anything from NOVA yet, not even a confirmation that my application is present. I have tried to contact them three times in the last two weeks to no avail. I am wondering if an email might have gotten marked as spam in my school email because that happened with Arizona. Anyone else have this problem with NOVA??

Yeah, the Hampton Inn on Nova's list of hotels is supposed to be the cheapest at $79.99 per night. They have a shuttle that runs from 8am to 11pm that can pick you up from the airport and takes you to the school.
 
i sent my online appl in about a week or so ago and then they called my cell phone on friday and set up an appointment and said they would send me a packet with more info. they also said that they've filled their interview slots thru january, but they squeezed me in.

Damn, through January already. How many students does Nova usually interview per year?
 
through january?? thats ridiculous. im sorry i wasted my time with them. my app was sent aug 15th and i still havnt heard anything. what happens to people who (god forbid) applied in july or august? they have virtually no chance..what a colossal waste.

I received online secondary link today even though my AADSAS has not been
mailed out.

I have very similar stat except BCP ~3.53😀

Everybody is saying everybody gets secondary from Nova??😱
 
I think it all depends. My application was processed last week of July and Nova contacted me for an interview via snail mail August 18th. My interview is in November. It's better than no interview at all.

On another note, I'm not sure how many they interview every year, but they get a lot of applicants... a lot more than most schools.

The Comfort Inn and Suites is also really good. I stayed there last year and they even had free dinner (with free beer!) on Thursday nights. They will also pick you up at the airport and take you to the school. When I first moved down here I stayed there a couple nights again and it was great.👍
