Hello, I was invited to interview for Nova's POP program today and I have a couple questions:
1) What kind of questions should I expect to get?
2) If asked what I would do if I saw someone cheating, how should I answer it?
3) What is the minimum amount of questions I should ask my interviewer?

Lastly, if anyone is currently in this program or knows something about it please feel free to comment.

1-I would review your application and just make sure you know everything about your application. Any weak areas, practice on how you should answer that question, for example, if you failed a class be prepared to answer why you did bad. If your OAT is average, make sure you know how to answer, how did you study and what other study technique do you think works best for you.

2-They definitely ask this question. I answered that question by saying that cheating is unethical and inhibits a student to learn the material which will then turn to a bad result in the board exams.

3-Ask three questions or more.

@futureopt17 Just wanted to know if you found out anything else about the program or if you ended up attending it youself? I am also interviewing for the POP program this March, and will be traveling to Florida from Texas, about 4 days after I come back from Massachusetts for an interview for their traditional program. I've already booked my flight and hotel, but was wondering if you had success in the program or knew of anyone that did? Or even chose it over attending a traditional program, if accepted for one, that Fall?

This also extends to anyone else who comes across this thread, I am considering this program because of my weakness in some undergrad classes, but am not sure if its to be considered if I get in to Optometry school somewhere else?

Quick question did you guys apply for POP or it was an option after regular application?

They told me after I applied to the regular program that I was on the POP program list and would get an email to interview mid Feb.

Hi I got into pop after I applied in the regular cycle. They said it would be better for me and that the class was starting to fill up.
