So just had my interview with Nova tonight and feel pretty good about it. The lady did tell me I had to make a decision on what program I wanted to be considered for. When I asked what the availability was for the two Three Year and Four Year programs was she told me that Fort Lauderdale has excepted 47 students for their 45 seats. The Hybrid program in Tampa has accepted 3 of 20. I feel my chances are pretty good at getting into the Tampa program but I have my concerns about the different style of study. Any suggestions because I have to let her know my decision by Monday? Fort Lauderdale where there is still a chance to get in with students going elsewhere or a questionable Tampa program that look promising?

I was thinking about the Tampa hybrid. I might be able to work a bit with that one too. U of St Augustine also has a hybrid 4-yr program. Hoping that UCF will want me, though, I really loved the program and students that I met yesterday!!

I was in the same situation having to choose between the two NOVA programs. I wrote Dr. Page an email telling her on Friday I would like to officially switch to the Tampa program and I got a phone call today that I was unofficially accepted to the Tampa program! Quick reply! Are you all from Florida? Any one else accepted to the Tampa program?

Hi and congrats that you got accepted to Tampa Campus. I am planning to apply this coming up year. May I ask your STATS?
🙂

Has anyone gotten any more info about the Nova Hybrid program? Do they offer cadavar labs? HOw is the info mainly given to students? Do you need any additional computer software like Micosoft office? Thanks for any info.

Hey I just had a phone interview today for the Tampa Hybrid DPT Program for Nova? Does anyone have any experience with this program. Thoughts about it? Thanks!!

I am also curious about the setup of these hybrid programs. Do people from out of state do these? I watched the Nova video last night (on their webpage) and it said 50% (or something) were out of state. And it is literally every single month for 4 years that you need to fly into the area?

I am wondering if this might be an option for me. I applied to local PT schools this year and was rejected (not surprised, I need more observation hours and another class retake). We are a military family and moving every 2-3 years....so my options have been so limited and I have little control over where we will move next and if that place will have a program of if we will be there long enough for me to finish. I wish I had applied this year to Nova, if not just to see how it was and get more information. I was only looking at in state programs though and completely missed it.
