NOVA Southeastern: Please help: Interviews/Seats?

Hello All,

I applied later than I should have (mid Dec.-early Jan) and am wondering if anyone has any info on the number of seats left at NOVA (as of mid-to-late January 2004). I have tried email with no response and calling but repeatedly get voicemail, and I don't want to inundate them with endless messages.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to hear from NOVA after submitting your secondary, specifically if you will get an interview or not? Any help with either of these questions would be MOST appreciated. Thanks!

They are pretty quick to respond to the secondary...very slow in email and voicemail.

If you get an interview invite, it will probably be for april or later.

I have been accepted to Nova--interviewed on December 12th and accepted December 30th. My brother applied their last week and was told he could call yesterday to find out if he was accepted. So I know there are spots left--how many? Not exactly sure. Nova probably can't tell you an exact number either because they have to wait to hear back from those they've already accepted.

Did your brother actually INTERVIEW yet? (was his interview last week?) It seems kind of quick to apply one week and hear if you are accepted the next? Thank-you in advance for your help, dprice121! 🙂

I apologize, my brother actually INTERVIEWED there last week, not applied. And I just talked to him last night and he was accepted!

I applied Nov. 15, recieved a secondary on dec. 10th (about), and recieved an interview invite for feb. 11 about two weeks ago. Hopefully this means there are seats available, but I really dont know about that. Good luck!

NOVA Says--

I interviewed there on Friday 1-23-04--Beautiful school and my number one choice. They said that they had gotten more applications than any other school (2300 total so far). They had sent out 1800 secondaries. Of those 1800 secondaries, they had invited around 200-250 people for interviews. I think they have sent out almost all of their interview invitations (I got mine via a phone call). They said that they would stop interviewing in late February-early March. Also, they have filled about 60 positions of their class already from around 120 acceptances. I hope that helps and that does not discourage you if you have not gotten an interview.

Just got back from Fort Lauderdale. Let me just say that Andy is a lucky man. This was my 5th interview and by far Nova is the nicest school I have seen. Excellent facility, excellent people, excellent town. Two thumbs up!

Andy, thanks for taking me out. I had a fun time. 🙂
