I just wrote my DAT September 3rd, and I am surprised that I was offered an interview to NSU already.

On my aadsas, all it says is Invited for Interview, but it does not give any information and when I call them, no one ever picks up! How did you contact them for more information?

...but doesn't look too good for me as I took the DAT Aug 14th and haven't heard anything from them! I thought my app was decent enough for their stats...oh well! Oh, and I heard that you will be receiving info about the interview by snail mail, so you will probably figure out how to set up a date and whatnot at that time. Good luck 👍

Thanks! I don't think you should worry about not getting an interview yet, the admissions process is so unpredictable.

On the day I wrote my DAT (for the first time), my aadsas status for NSU said "declined." I was so shocked that they had declined me already since I did not have my DAT scores entered and I had just written the DAT that day. I called in the next day, faxed in my DAT scores and now I have an interview!!! I have no idea what happened, so just keep hoping!

So you submitted ur app without your dat; Did you leave your DAT date blank or put your future date on the app?

Yeah, I indicated that my DAT was to be taken in the future and they had still declined me. They probably just made a mistake since they have so many applicants.

ya i've been having that status update on AADSAS for about 3 days now and im patiently waiting for that snail mail. I really hope its not a fluke on their end. Good luck guys!

Got the snail mail about three days after AADSAS update. They don't give you an option of dates just assign you a day and time in the letter. My date is Dec. 18 @ 11:45am. Anyone else get that date?

So I got the "invited for an interview" status at Nova on September 18th....and I still haven't received any information about it in the mail.

I've contacted them by email and have gotten no response. I also tried calling but I couldn't get through!

Do you think I should wait a bit longer since I'm from Canada or do you think I should try contacting them again?

I am in Canada too
My status was changed on Aug 31
and I got a package a week later
I don't know, maybe they are just too busy

I went out with the very first mailing in early July, but didn't take the DAT until Aug 14th, and I just got an invite last Thursday for October 21.

I think my mailing date was ~August 20th but I did not write my DAT until September 3rd, which is pretty late. I got my interview on September 18th, 15 days after!

3.36 GPA, 3.38 sci (Bad freshman year- 2.6)

My AADSAS has been "under review" since August 7th. I completed the supp app and everything but this waiting is killing me. Has anyone had any experience with calling them about status? just kinda worried if they lost something or whatever. Think i should call?

I know my stats are not amazing, but I do have an interview at Case in december. I also have interviews at Maryland, Temple, and Tufts in october. It just seems like alot of folks heard from NOVA in a shorter time span. IDK, waiting sucks so Im venting lol...Id apprecitate any advice

I think you should call. They accidentally declined me by accident before I even wrote my DAT and my gpa is a bit higher than their average acceptance. They offered me an interview as soon as I called them.

It can be as early as 2 or as late as 4 =\
If you have a flight in the evening, they let you interview first. If not, you have to wait!
In other schools, each person has a different interviewer to go to. So you get done fast.
At NOVA, Dr. Lippman really likes to get to know as many applicants as he can. So at my interview they only have 2 interviews going on at a time -- each around 20-30 mins each. And we have around 12 people that day.

I finally got through to Nova and apparently my interview date pack was lost in the mail!!!

Because of this, they immediately emailed me another date but I've been bumped back to January 14th at 11:45am. They gave up my prior spot to someone else because they thought I declined since I did not call them within two weeks. 🙁

Does it even matter than I am interviewing a month later than I should have?

Btw, if anyone would like to trade for an earlier date, please let me know!

I just received my interview invitation from NOVA for Jan 06, 2010. But unlike you guys, I received my invitation via email. On the email, they attached the document with instructions, contacting information, hotel information, and a parking permit. I called them immediately but never receive a confirmation email. Should I be expecting a confirmation email from them? And since it seems like I got my package via email, should I expect them to mail me the interview package?

I got an interview via email too....I called to confirm but it went on voicemail and so I left a confirmation message...have they called anyone back to confirm that you are confirmed?...My interview date is Feb. 5th... does the chances of getting in really go down the later you are interviewed?

darn, i would really like to get an interview here. I have interviewed at Maryland(oct14), Temple(oct 21), and Tufts(oct30). I have Case Western coming up (dec 16), and UMDNJ (Jan 8th)
I would hope that if these schools feel im good enough to interview, so would NOVA, but still no word from them, "under review" since Aug 7th... 🙁
