Does anyone know what GPA/MCAT is considered competitive for an out of state student applying to Nova?

Hi, I know that the average MCAT for Nova is ~8 in each section and the avg. GPA is ~3.5. I am an out-of-stater with a 9 in each section of the MCAT , a 3.37 GPA. I interviewed there in mid November and was accepted. I plan on going. Whatever your stats are or will be if they are within 2 or 3 points of the avg. and the rest of your application is strong, ie. volunteer work, letters of Rec. then you will have a fighting chance at an interview and in my oppinion once you have an interview you have a really good chance of getting in. Good Luck! 😎

I got in with a 3.45 overall (3.17 sci) & 24 MCAT
and 8 years of health care experience....

(out of stater as well, VA)
