hi fellow dental school applicants!
for those of you that have applied to nova...have they updated the status of all the required materials (transcripts, recommendation letters...) on their supplemental application webpage? I've been checking it since I submitted it in the beginning of July but it's all blank. I know they are updating AADSAS with interview invites, but I was wondering if they really haven't received my stuff yet. Thanks!!!

Call them. My AADSAS status has said "received/awaiting additional materials" and that website you're talking about only shows they had my payment. Turns out they had everything but my DAT scores, which I did send over 2 months ago but apparently got lost. Predents shows >20 interviews scheduled already so I wouldn't wait around if you think you should have been contacted by now by Nova.

My aadsas status with NOVA states "Received/Under Review" and I haven't heard anything else from NOVA itself. I get frustrated though because under the status column on "that website" for NOVA, it doesnt' say anything in any of the rows and I'm wondering if this is the correct place to check your application status. Some people said that they checked their status on "that website" and it said invited for an interview. I don't even think that you would be able to fit that in those columns. Am I wrong?

Do we have to send LORs and official transcripts directly to Nova? Because in the Nova supplemental page, the "received" columns for those things is blank for me. Is that normal? I didn't think we had to send them anything except DAT scores....

I think that it stays that way. I've talked to them and they were just waiting on dat scores, and all of my columns are blank as well.

This is all the website says:
"The supplementary application should be submitted electronically. If the applicant is unable to submit the supplementary application electronically, he or she should contact the dental admissions office at (954) 262-1108. The deadline for Nova Southeastern university College of Dental Medicine’s supplementary application is January 15, 2009, for the class entering in August 2008."

BTW, I think I got a wrong info regarding applicaition fee.

Do you think the only way to pay for it is to send money order or US check via mail?

I thought this will also automatically appear on AADSAS upon my submission. Then, I imagined I will be able to pay them by credit card as AADSAS application fee. On the other hand, I also thought I can send US check or money order as an option!!

Anybody knows about this?

So you're saying that the supplemental application will appear within my AADSAS application website once nova has received my application?

The Nova supp. app. can only be done after Nova sends you an email asking you to do it. Its all online and from what i can remember, you pay online as well.

Oops...I definitely sent them a $50 personal check this past Friday. I guess I'll have to contact them for clarification.

How do you see that? I look on predents and its last years cycle ....2009 cycle hasnt been updated.

Did you get a chance to contact them? Do we pay the app fee with our AADSAS submit or wait until they ask us do so? Does anybody know this?

I checked on AADSAS and it says to wait until contacted.
