Here is my situation: I have been accepted to Nova, have turned down an interview at AZCOM and will probalby turn down interviews at UHSCOM and Touro. I recently was granted and interview at CCOM and am considering going. I am canceling the interviews at AZCOM, Touro, and UHS because I do not believe that they provide a better education than Nova. However, I hear that CCOM is a great school with great rotatins/internships,residencies. Though I probably will end up in family practice, I do not want to limit myself to not being able to specialize if I choose to do so. Can anyone give me any information on the percentage of CCOM graduates that enter primary care. Also please provide info on CCOM's residency programs. If I wanted to be an orthopedic surgeon, where should I go Nova or CCOM. Also, who do you think has the better overall program Nova or CCOM?
Thanks in advance

At my interview they said 50% PCP, 50% specialist (roughly) so I'd say you could easily do either. Rotations? AWESOME, from what I gather. It is worth the trip and time just to check it out. NOVA is a great school and I am admittedly swayed by what I saw!

why sweat it....you'll change your mind about 10 times between now and your 3rd year...pick the program that offers you the most options and run with it!
