Hi all,
I got into Nova and Rutgers and don't know where to go. Rutgers is cheaper but I would much rather live in Florida one day then New Jersey. Does anyone know which school is better. Rutgers seems a but old and run down , while I heard nova is building a new clinic. Also which is better for specializing? Would someone please PM me if you go to either school? I would really appreciate that 🙂

Thanks for your input! Do you guys have any idea how hard it is to specialize into Ortho, or Perio following Rutgers? I am willing to work hard to specialize, but there is so little info on how it works, getting into specialties and stuff. So I am basically asking is Rutgers known to get people into specialties better than your average school?

I'm not sure of the rate of people who specialize from Rutgers, but they themselves have a lot of postgrad education (perio, ped, endo, etc.) You get to assist and go on weekly rotations to learn more hands on all the specialties. Rutgers is also known for producing good clinicians because they have high clinical requirements. I would guess Rutgers has an about average placement rate, its known for being a good school and they grade on GPA scale, rather than H/P/F.
