Has anyone sent in their secondary to Nova and been invited for an interview???? How long does it take to hear from them after sending in the secondary???? 😕

I mailed mine back on Wednesday so they probably received it on Friday or Saturday... so we'll see

I still haven't received my secondary. Pharmcas has not sent my printouts to my designated schools yet. I submitted my PharmCAS on September 19th so they should be mailing the printout soon shouldnt they?

After you submit they still have to calculate GPA. I submitted in mid August and they mailed mine on August 25th. I got my supplemental from Nova two weeks later and then worked on it for a few weeks and sent it back. If they have already calculated your GPA it will probably get mailed out any day now! No worries 😉

What all does the Nova supplemental require you to do? Do you have to write and essay and send a pic?

You have to write a brief statement (there is a space on the application packet for you to hand write it); not nearly as long as PharmCas. You have to list all schools you are applying to, anything you would like the admissions committee to know while reviewing your app (I explained a couple of bad grades from a few years back) and then there is a place to include extracurriculars, honors/awards, work and volunteer experience etc. A lot of it is just like PharmCas. No picture. It takes some time to complete but it's not too bad. Don't be like me- I took forever finishing it cause I have a hard time committing to my essays 😉 You could finish it in a couple days if you just work on it and GIT R DONE!

you don't have to write a completely new essay- just use the same one you used for pharmcas. That is what I did and others who have went to and already graduated from Nova COP did.

I am still trying to get in touch with NOVA. They never pick up their phone, or return callls........... This is so frustrating. I just want to make sure my file is complete and they have recieved the secondary. I wonder how long it is going to be now?????

I guess i have to wait.. Has anyone heard from nova or know the best way to get in touch with the admis coun ????

I haven't heard from them since I sent my supplemental back last week but I'm just gonna keep an eye out for my check to clear. Try emailing them. But I'd give it a little time and be patient. How long ago did PharmCas mail your application? It may take a couple weeks from that date to get your supplemental.

you all need to relax. I did not start calling them till after I was already admitted- that is when you need to start calling to make sure they have everything (which they will send you a letter with everything you are missing). And even then- it was probably months after I was admitted, because once you get admitted it is a while before you get any info again ( I was admitted in Oct- did not get much info ntil the spring). They do interviews all they way till next spring. I have heard of people getting admitted the month before school starts. If you all are worrying this much now- than you are going to have a heart attack from stress once you get into pharm school and have to deal with the headaches of fin aid and classes. Just relax-I would not start to worry until next year!

Nobody has been contacted for an interview that I know of and that all other students know of from Nova undergrad. I guess we are supposed to wait but one NSUCOP student said interviews start Oct. 4th, which is around the same time they started last year. Someone around town here should have been contacted for one but since nobody received an invitation, we are unsure for now.

I sent my supplemental two weeks ago. I am just axious to see what's going on. Especially because I haven't been able to get in touch with anybody in admissions. I just called yesterday and spoke to the general admissions receptionist and she said that the Pharm Admissions Councilor went on vacation. Wow, what timing....... Oh well, I guesss we have to wait......

That is not true- last year I got called for an interview early last Sep and wound up interviewing around the 19th- I think of Sep. I am sure some people have been called for interviews already, if not already interviewed. But who knows.
