I believe they are accredited now, but I'm not sure what, if any, issues they had in getting there. I would recommend visiting if you're at all serious about going there -- take a tour, talk to the admission counselors, students. They have an open house sometime in the fall around now that I went to last year that was pretty good. I thought their facilities were nice -- brand new in the last 5 or so years, but I didn't get a good vibe about the place for some reason. I talked to a recent graduate who works in the area where I live now and he liked it, he did well enough to go on for a specialty residency (they can be pretty competitive) after he graduated, if that says anything.
