WTH Nova is booked until January 29. I couldnt make the interview they gave me on Oct 16 so they told me that the next available interiew date is January 29. I think that is rediculous, they are handing out acceptances on Dec. 1 and I cant even interview until January 29.

Makes me wonder why I even bothered applying to NOVA in the first place, doesnt seem like they are a very student helpful school.

Yeah, Nova sent me an invitation letter on July 31, and I received a mail yesterday! (since there is an address confusion)

In invitation letter, my interview date is December 12. So I guess all interview dates upto January are pretty much taken by now.

Also, I agree with you in the last sentence. When I called them, they answered with very short and dry manner. However, as soon as I get an interview, their attitude has been changed. It's weird but I guess that's how life is going.

I really can't believe you would go as far as to call NOVA ridiculous b/c they cannot/wont accommodate your schedule to your liking. Maybe you are expecting too much from a school. Nova may not be the most popular school for applicants, but come on...

What i think is they should allow you to schedule your own interview date like most other normal schools.

This same thing happened last year where all the pre-Dec 1st interviews filled up fast. You should check predents.com to see how the people who interviewed post Dec fared.

That is impossible and cannot be correct. If they did indeed tell you that, they probably did so just to emphasize that they like current scores.

What i think is they should allow you to schedule your own interview date like most other normal schools.

though i agree with you, a bunch of schools have preset dates. a large private school like nova hands out many interviews, so its less strain for the coordinator to accommodate dozens of personalized schedules. understandable i suppose.

Just received interview invite as well for January 28. This sucks!! This means they will probably put me under waiting list. I am pretty sure NOVA sends out most of the acceptances on Dec 1st. ahh!! my first interview but still not very happy 🙁

Wrong. On predents.com, about equal number of people were accepted before and after Dec. 1st. Now, be happy again.

Lol Thanks! Nova is my # 1 choice that's why I expected its interview to be early in the cycle so that I can hear the good news by Dec 1st. I guess now I will have to wait until next spring to hear that. But I am still happy!

I just received an invite from Nova for 25th sept...I am happy and freaked out. I am trying to find some cheap tickets and the airport near me is good for nothing. I'll have to drive 3 hrs to another airport and all. Why the hell am in SC???

How long of a drive is South Carolina from Florida. Go on a roadtrip with a couple of budies and just "stop off" at NOVA for an interview. Youll save a couple of bucks and make it more fun.
