November 1 deadlines

Really confused on the deadline process. My pharmcas is pretty much complete except for my july PCAT scores which i requested mid september. There is one school i want to apply for the November 1 deadline. Is it too late to apply for that school? Is the deadline for when you 1. e-submit, 2. pharmcas processes it, or 3. the school has to receive the mailed application from pharmcas?

If you have not yet sent your transcripts to PharmCAS, and e-submitted your application - Unfortunately I think it might be a bit too late. But, before you throw in the towel, I would call the school and see if they are willing to make arrangements with you to send your application to them late.

depends on the school. UCSD and UCSF dont start looking at apps until the 1st. As long as you have all documents to pharmcas(transcripts,test scores, ect), supplementals, fees paid and esubmit pharmcas app by the deadline, the schools will have access to your pharmcas. My friend last year submitted on the very last day and got interviews to both ucsd/ucsf and ultimately accepted to ucsf. Just make sure everything is done properly before nov 1st and you're good to go.

I think you might still have a chance. Even though pharmcas hasn't calculated your GPA
I think when you designate schools something gets sent to them. This might be enough to meet the deadline. And then the person told me that pcat and letters of rec can be on the way.

crap my top school's choice deadline is november 1 too. am i SOL if i still haven't completed my pharmcas personal essay yet? everything else is complete; i have all my transcripts submitted in early july, took the PCAT september 25, and have all but 1 letter of rec received. what do i do

Finish up your personal statement. You can submit and wait for the letters to come in later.
