NRMP and Ophthalmology?

Does anyone know why Ophthalmology is not listed as a specialty under the 2007 NRMP outcomes? I also noticed that Urology and Neurosurgery are not listed. Do these specialties go through a different match system?

Yes, they do. I believe neurosurg and ophtho are in the San Francisco Match and that urology and neurology each have their own.

FWIW, Neuro is now regular match. OTW correct.

It is interesting to note that in 1998 ophthalmology's step 1 average was surprisingly low, but has been making steady gains every year since then.
