Since it seems like some people received an email from the NRMP this morning and some people did not, I wanted to do a poll to see what percentage of people got the email.

It just seems odd that not everyone received an email.

I did not recieve an email...however, I did already fill out the survey. My guess would be that the people who got the email had not already done the survey.

That is what I initially assumed as well, but someone said that they did not fill out the survey, and did not get a blank email. However they said they did get the explanation email with survey. So maybe are initial assumptions are correct and the blank email problem was corrected prior to being sent to that person.

Did anyone who filled out the survey earlier get the email?

maybe the poll should be altered with 1 other variable: Those who filled out the survey vs those who did not

As for people who did not match last year getting the email... 🙄

It has nothing to do with matching. It depends on whether you had already filled the NRMP survey or not. THE END

What a jerk.

It's simply an email you get if you didn't fill out the survey.

In my school inbox, the blank transmitted through. It was followed up by the email a couple of hours later telling us to disregard the blank.

In my private inbox (secondary email listed on NRMP site), the blank was labeled as spam. The follow up email was the only one that showed up.

I've since completed the survey to avoid all other emails except the magical "You are fully matched!"
